This is a historical survey class covering material starting from the Byzantine Empire through the Cold War. Along the way we will learn about cultures in Asia and Africa, the Renaissance, democratic revolutions in Europe and the Americas, European imperialism, and 20^th century Europe, including World War I and World War II.
