My name is Scott Baumgartner. I am the Middle School Math Teacher. I have been teaching for many years and have found my rightful place at O’Hara. The 2010-2011 school year will be my 25th year of teaching, my 9th in catholic schools, and my 3rd at O’Hara. My faith and my family come first. My family attends mass at St. Mary’s Church and my two daughters attend O’Hara Catholic School. We offer a great math education at O’Hara. Sixth graders are placed by ability into either Pre Algebra or Math 6/7. Seventh graders then take either Algebra or Pre Algebra. Our 8th graders are then offered either a full year of Algebra or a class called Advanced Math Topics, where we explore problem solving and geometry. |
